This is usually based on one or more of the following: - Quality of the tufting cloth. We recommend primary tufting cloth or high quality monk's cloth. Cotton/polyester blends are stronger
- Tufting cloth not being tight enough. This will cause the gun to hover in a section rather than glide along. It should be as tight as possible.
- Staying in one position too long and allowing the needle to overwork a section.
- Tufting lines being too close or going over a section multiple times. If the section isn't being filled in enough with yarn we recommend putting more yarn through the needle so the tufts are fuller.
