Hello! So my husband finally built my frame and I couldn't wait to get started. I attached the monk's cloth I bought from burlapfabric.com and my problem is, the cloth is not sticking to the carpet tack very well. It's not tight at all and I can't figure out if I need to have carpet tack on both sides of the frame maybe? I have been messing with it trying to get it right but I'm afraid I'm ruining the cloth by pulling it on and off the tacks. It's just floppy and won't stay in place, particularly on the bottom. Any tips for me?! I'm dying to get started with this thing! Thanks.

Hi Elizabeth,
I'm sorry you're having these issues. It sounds like the tacks might be facing the wrong way. The points should face away from the middle of the frame on all 4 sides.
Can you attach pictures of the tacks and cloth?

That was exactly it, thank you! I didn't even consider that the carpet tack might have a certain direction it needed to face. They were all correct except for the portion along the bottom of the frame which is also the one that wouldn't stay on. 🤦🏻♀️ Thanks again, off to try some more practice rows.
