"Hi, I just bought mine! But I've been trying it out and its just creating holes in my fabric, the yarn sticks through every so often but not continuous. Would you know the reason why? Thanks!"

Hi Jeanette, Let's address the issues separately. 1. Holes being cut into the fabric. This generally has to do with the quality of cloth you're using. We found that some monk's cloth can't hold up to machine tufting. The best monks cloth we've found is from www.burlapfabric.com, but we also sell a primary tufting cloth perfect for machine tufting. The issue could also be that you're staying in one place too long. Another thing you can try is staying tuft with the weave of the fabric. 2. Yarn not staying in backing. This is almost always because you're not applying enough pressure. It's a pretty common mistake in the beginning. You'll need to maintain consistent pressure for every stitch for it to go into the cloth. This also might help solve the other issue above.
